Installing
iOS (iPhone & iPad)
Search "Roster Rhythm" in the App Store and tap Get. iOS 16 or later.
Android (phones & tablets)
Search "Roster Rhythm" in the Google Play Store and tap Install. Android 10 or later.
Web
Open app.rosterrhythm.com in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.
Signing in
Tap "Sign in with Apple," "Sign in with Google," or "Continue with email" on the welcome screen. We never see your Apple or Google password.
Creating a team
Tap the + button on the My Teams screen. Enter the team name, sport, season, and home venue. Roster Rhythm creates a team-join code you can text to other parents and coaches.
Adding players
Open the team, tap Roster, then Add Player. If you're a parent adding your own child, fill in the player's first name (or nickname), jersey number, and position. If the player is under 13, you'll be asked to complete the one-time parental consent step the first time.
Joining a team
Open My Teams → Join Team and paste in the team-join code your coach sent you. Add your player(s) to the roster.
Scoring a game
Open the team, tap the upcoming game in Schedule, then tap Start Scoring. The scoring interface matches the sport (at-bats for baseball/softball, possessions for soccer, etc.). Stats update live; parents on the team see the score update in real time.
Live streaming a game
From the game screen, tap Go Live. The stream defaults to team-only visibility (only parents on the roster can watch). Tap Save Recording after the game if you want a copy archived; otherwise the live feed is discarded when the stream ends.
Setting walk-up music
Open the player's profile, tap Walk-Up Music, and upload a short audio clip (under 30 seconds). The DJ tablet at the game can be set to auto-play each player's clip when they come up.
Deleting individual content
Long-press any player, game, clip, stream, or message in the app to get a Delete option. Deletes are immediate and remove the underlying files from our backend.
Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirm with your password (or biometric). Account deletion is complete within 30 days; most are processed within 7. If you can't sign in, email privacy@rosterrhythm.com from the email you used to register.
Parental controls
Parents of children under 13 manage their child's profile entirely — review what's stored, revoke consent, or delete the profile from Settings → My Players. See the privacy policy for the full COPPA flow.
Common problems
"Team-join code not found"
Codes expire 30 days after they're created. Ask your coach to generate a new one (Team → Settings → Generate Join Code).
"Sign-in failed"
If you signed up with Sign in with Apple but later switched to Sign in with Google (or vice versa), Roster Rhythm sees those as two different identities. Use the same provider you originally registered with; if you forget, email contact@rosterrhythm.com and we'll merge the accounts.
Stream cuts out
Live streams need ~3 Mbps upload bandwidth. Check the signal indicator at the top of the stream screen; if it's red, move to a spot with better cell service or switch to a hotspot.
Privacy questions
See the privacy policy for full disclosures. The short version: we collect what teams need to operate — rosters, scoring, streams, walk-up audio — and nothing more. We never sell data or include third-party tracking SDKs. Children under 13 are managed by their parents under verifiable consent.
